Mold stains sit in porous grout and silicone where sprays run off too quickly. A gel clings for hours, long enough to lift the stain out of the pores instead of only lightening the surface.
What you need
- Mold Stain Remover Gel
- Gloves and ventilation
- An overnight window
The routine
1. Dry the surface first
Wipe grout or caulk dry. Gel applied over water dilutes and slides, so dry contact is half the result.
2. Trace the stain with gel
Run a continuous bead directly on the stained lines. Full, unbroken coverage prevents leftover shadows.
Tip: A strip of plastic wrap over the bead can keep it in place on vertical caulk.
3. Leave it overnight
This formula works over 6 to 12 hours, not minutes. Apply after the last evening shower and rinse in the morning.
4. Rinse and assess
Rinse thoroughly. Old, deep stains in porous grout may need a second night.
Honest expectation
What this solves: This removes the stains mold leaves behind on grout, caulk, and tile. It is not mold remediation; growth from a leak or behind walls is a moisture problem that needs fixing at the source.
